Privacy policy

This is the plain-language version. It is the policy. There is no separate "real" policy in legalese. This is what we follow. It covers the VialBook app for iPhone and iPad, version 2.0 and later. The vialbook.com website is separate: it counts page views with Vercel Analytics, which uses no cookies and does not identify you.

1. What we collect

Nothing. VialBook has no account, no server and no analytics. Your medicines, doses, weights, injection sites and notes stay on your phone. VialBook does not send them anywhere, and it contains no advertising, analytics or crash-reporting code.

2. Subscriptions

• Billing is Apple's. If you subscribe to VialBook Pro, Apple takes the payment and tells the app on your phone that Pro is active. VialBook does not receive your name, card details or purchase history.
• The free trial. The 7-day trial start date is kept on your phone, in the device Keychain, so reinstalling the app does not restart it. It is never sent to VialBook.
• Manage or cancel any time in your Apple Account settings.

3. Support emails

If you email support, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to include, so we can reply. We keep it only as long as needed to help you.

4. What we never collect

• Your name, address, phone number or government identifiers.
• Health, dose, weight or lab values.
• Location data.
• Contacts or social graph.
• Advertising identifiers.

5. Your data and your control

• Erase. Settings, then Delete all my data. One tap, final, no request form.
• Back up. Settings, then Back up to a file, saves a file you keep. Restore only adds what is missing.
• Export. Settings, then Export, saves a CSV any time.
• Access and edits. Your data lives on your device and you can edit any of it. We hold no server copy.

If you use iCloud or iOS device backups, Apple may include the app's data in them under your Apple settings. That is between you and Apple.

6. Children's data

VialBook is not intended for users under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

7. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, the change is announced in the app changelog and on the website. Material changes that affect what data we collect require fresh consent from you before they apply.
